TrucitatE, the solo project of Johannes Nonn from Leipzig who grew up with classical instruments, was initiated in summer 2012. In his works, he waives vocals but concentrates on guitars and violas as main instruments for a specific soundstructure. These classical influences and the fact that there are no vocals at all are musical elements, which belong to a certain genre of modern music: Post-Rock.
The works all begin quietly and slowly, but build themselves up bit by bit. The dark, mostly improvised viola melodies and the wide guitar soundscapes create an atmospheric heterogenity. The melancholic images open up a dreamy desire to see distant places, thanks to the dark melodies and glimmering nuances, while all comes back together in the outfading ends of Nonns musical compositions. Taking all into consideration, this will guarantee some extravagant thoughts.
