Based in the German Ruhr Area AESTATE originally started as an electronica project in 2006 and have transformed and expanded their audiovisual universe ever since. Their music can be labeled as a postmodern combination of different styles between abstract electronica and heavy post rock. With ‘Drone Chorus’ Chris Huff and Sven Piayda demonstrate their wide range of abilities in performing and producing, each track appears unique in sound and structure. AESTATE live shows are rare but impressive by merging tracks or turning them into rock versions, usually escorted by multiple video projections filling the gap between ambition and fun, music and art.
