Le Fort - All my time

about

What is a Noise- and Lo-Fi-musician doing at night, when you have to stay quiet? Quite a good question that Julian Knoth (Die NERVEN, Peter Muffin, Stella & René,...) answers by publishing his project 'le fort'. Some years ago, created due to his love to electronic music and formerly known as "Gosh!St.Jimmy", Julian Knoth started his sideproject and started to produce music on his computer. After some time, more and more albums were written, which stood under an extreme influence of his actual interests. Partly Minimal, but also Electro and some african samples later on. The project "le fort", named after french doctor René Le Fort who classified facial fractures, made an end to "Gosh!St.Jimmy" to give it all a better structure. Homemade Samples meet distorted and alienated voices and beats. A raw, monotonous, driving sound, which can be found on the album "Lille" from 2012. With his Non-Album-Track "All my Time", he presents a rather quite song by "le fort", which reminds more of the ambiental album "ukRAINe".
